Kalyani B. Glass, Principal
With 18 years experience and a special expertise in nonprofit issues, Kay is an accomplished and well-rounded marketing professional.
As a consultant and an employee, Kay's work has encompassed strategic planning, public relations and advertising campaigns, website and publications production, and fundraising and community events. She has worked in several agencies – from small, boutique firms to international corporations - and is flexible with how she can work with your organization or agency.
Over the years, Kay's clients have included colleges and universities, historic preservation organizations, independent schools, civic and cultural institutions, grantmakers, healthcare providers, and youth development organizations. She has a particular interest in adoption and foster care issues.
At the
Forum on Education Abroad, Kay delivered
a 200 percent increase in attendance at the organization's annual conference and upped membership by 25 percent.
Kay organized
Partners for Sacred Places' program, "Ten Sacred Places to Save," including a press conference with Senator Joseph Lieberman to unveil the list. This project by Partners for Sacred Places was reported by Associated Press, Religion News Service, and daily newspapers in Connecticut, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Detroit, Chicago, Kansas City, Houston, and Denver.
Kay holds a bachelor's degree from
Bryn Mawr College, with a major in gender studies. Active in community service, she is a mentor with the Adams Conty Business Education Partnership and has been a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Adams County. She also organizes a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) group for
Everblossom Farm.
